What struck me the most about both Jeff Meldrum's and Igor's presentations was the sense of kinship toward perfect strangers on the other side of the globe ... folks who, just like us, are dealing with the same questions and challenges, and driven by the same curiosity. And they're not any farther along than we are! Still, I think it makes the "big picture" of this field a lot bigger, and lets us know that we're not alone in our efforts.
As one foreign acquaintance once said to me in his simple English, "All people same-same."

You are very Welcome Julie.
Igor was so hurt when it came time for him to catch his flight and he was denied. We had hoped that he would have came sooner but he had important issues to complete first. We Welcome Igor any time that he can make it with open arms.

First of all, I want to thank Tom for posting this very important paper here on the forum, M.K. did a fairly adequate job of presenting it at the Ohio Conference, but I feel it would have been a bit better if Igor had been able to come to the U.S. and present it. The work of the Russian Hominologists is very important and should be highlighted at every opportunity. Those who are debating whether to get the Russian research books which Jan is selling, stop debating and get at least two of them if possible. They are wonderful, and the information in them is invaluable. Even if you can only afford one of the books, I would recommend the newest one, Bigfoot Research: The Russian Vision. I have all three, and do not regret owning them, but the newest one is a real exclamation point on the research being done in the former Soviet Union. Igor and Dmitri are doing terrific things in the realm of research, as is Dr. Koffmann and others, and others who have researched the hominoid question in the past, such as Maya Bykova, Dmitri Donskoy, Boris Porshnev and others. I am glad to see there is at least one corner of the Internet where the Russian research is still greatly appreciated. EXCELSIOR to the Bigfoot Reference Guide!!!!!!

I wrote Igor, thanks to Tom giving me his email address. He replied with questions that were insightful, and to the point. He more or less baited me to find out my stance on the existance of the Woodsmen. I replied with my beliefs rather indignantly. In his return post, he affirmed that, yes he has known for decades that they are a people. For credibilitys sake he probably wouldn't say this publicly, but I respect him just the same, because he has a very keen intellect. He is definantly a comrad in arms.
