Getting the best pictures and video takes know when and what condition. Over the years I have notice some of the best condition to take pictures or video are when it is cloudy. It has to be low overcast clouds with no holes in it. That condition will diffused the lights so the trees and other things will not have any shadows around them.
Days like this are a few days a month. Just wait on a low overcast and goes out and study the trees and buildings, hills and valleys and see what I mean by this.
I beleive many of those blobsquatches were taken on sunny bright days with many trees and other things casting shadows.
I hopes what I explains can be clear to you what I am trying to explain.
So have a good Spring and this coming Summer.
