I have been wondering how the bigfoot peoples find their mates. Is there any kind of courtship or dating? Do they find their mates from outside of their families or are they stay with n the family? Do they have arranged marriages with other bigfoot families, tribes or nations? Are they monogamous or are they promiscuous? Do they stay with one mate for life? Do they suffer from STD's? Do they get married? Do they engage in premarital activity before marriage (if they get married)? At what ages do they get married or become mating active? Do they shun members of their families who mate at a young age? If a young female becomes pregnant without a committed relationship (outside of marriage), what happens to her?

I think this is a good start, but I do have more question about this.

young female becomes pregnant without a committed relationship
I think this is a good start, but I do have more question about this.

The male bigfoot when he comes of age (have to watch our wording here for our young audience) travel to other bigfoot family bands and groups to seek our a wife. As far as I know it is considered taboo to marry within ones own family or close relative. They do have a marriage ceremony, not our type, they do observe. They court each other, and if the female wishes to take the male as her mate then the parents have to agree with her choice of husband, if they don't she continues to wait for the right man to come along. They will caress, flirt, hug, cuddle and hold hands much the same as we do. They just don't kiss each other as far as I know, or at least not in public.
They don't have arranged marriages. They may travel as far as somewhere up north where it snows in July.
All right that needs explaining. In 2004 Fox and family went on an extended trip to a gathering of some sort among the tribes. They do this about twice a year. Anyway, Fox came home with a new wife we dubbed Snow Petal because he said he got her from somewhere the snow falls in July.
Here is the catch. When Fox came back he brought me gifts of rocks, or what I thought was rocks at the time, in a red and green beautiful colors. In 2006 I met Steve and Violet, two of our members here. This year we moved to Indiana for a bit moving in with Steve and Violet. When I unpacked my box of Fox rocks, as I call all these rocks Fox has given me over the years as gifts, and am showing them to Steve, he ask me where I got these red and green glass rocks from?
I told him Fox had brought them to me as gifts from some place up north. Steve sort of rolled on the floor laughing and I thought he had taken leave of his senses until he said, Jan those are the very glass rocks I dumped out back so many years ago when I was working at Kokomo Opalescent Glass Factory in Kokomo, IN. Now, I was shaking my head saying to him there is no way that could be. Steve picks up the biggest red rock and turns it over and there is a fracture and some other distinguishing mark on the rock that Steve put in it as an identifier.
I still can not explain this, and there is just no way to explain it, except in 2004 Fox was in Kokomo, IN going dumpster diving for Steve's discarded pretty red and green glass rocks to bring home to me as gifts. The green one is a dead give away for where it came from, because it was only manufactured in one place within the USA, Kokomo, IN at the Opalescent Glass Factory.
So you tell me what Fox was doing in Kokomo Indiana in 2004 dumpster diving after pretty red and green glass rocks for me? He had traveled some place it snows in July to find his new wife Snow Petal and while on his way home decided to stop off at a glass companies dump site and bring me home gifts of what he thought I would thing was pretty red and green rocks. He also called the green glass rock a "dream rock" and told me to place it with me at night to keep away bad dreams.
People I am not making this up. It is the honest to goodness truth, and I have Steve and Violet here to testify to it as being a fact. I had never been in Kokomo, IN until Steve and Violet took us there to show me where the company was located at. If you look on a map it is in direct line nearly from Madisonville, TN to Kokomo, IN. Navigational Bigfoot trade route? Migrational Bigfoot route? I don't know. You tell me. All I know is that Fox went hunting a wife and came back with proof he had been to Kokomo, Indiana for sure. Snow Petal did not work out as his wife so she moved on after a while.
Males are allowed have more than one wife, but females are not allowed to have but one husband at a time. They do not always stay with the same mate or mates for life. I don't know on the STD's. They do get married but not like we do. No, they do not engage in premarital activity before marriage the first time, at least the females don't. I'm not so sure about the young males. Age of consent depends on the individual. No, they do not shun members of their families who mate at a young age. Young females that become pregnant without a committed relationship stay within her parents family group.

Jan

Jan,
Thanks for the information. That was very interesting. I can not even imagine what was going on with the glass. It blows my mind. Wow.

Hello Jan,

I just thought of another question. Do the bigfoot observe a period of engagement before the marriage ceremony? Also do they receive gifts from other bigfoot people to celebrate the marriage? Oh, and do they go on a honeymoon? I am sorry for the stupid questions, but I just have a lot of the it seems.

Respectfully,
Lynda

i worked at Kokomo opal. glass company for 21 years, and wound up being foreman on nights, my great grand father who came from tenn, worked there also, it was started in 1888, and still going today, the reason i know fox was there, when Jan showed me the green glass, it was the same color i threw out, i messed the color up during mixing, and was the only color like in the history of the company, they tried many times again to duplicate the color, because it was so unusual, but never got it right, and we threw all of it away as land fill near a creek and heavily forested area out side kokomo , ind, and at the time , there was only 3 stained glass factorys in the usa, and still is, , so yeah fox was there,

Hello Jan,

Yes Lynda the do observe a type period of engagement, not like ours but they do court each other. If the female approves her boyfriend and he suits her then she and he must have the female's parents approval before they marry in full. He has to show that he is a good provider with being able to bring her and her parents gifts of food. In other words he has to share his kills with them. As the engagement progresses he ends up giving his lady and her parents all of his large game kills. He has to show he can find water and will be a good leader. If not and she still wishes to marry him and her parents approve then he must stay with her family instead of taking her to his family or their going off making a family of their own.
I'll give a for instance here: Buffalo Hump please take note here. Nicki is Fox's daughter. Wenebojo or Bo as we call him came courting her back in 2002, along with Squeaky's father I dubbed The Traveling Sale Man. I thought Nicki would pick Squeaky's dad as her mate, but I'm thankful she didn't. He was the better provider but she did not like him very much. Maybe she just wished to stay with Fox her dad. Anyway, Bo was young and not that great at catching game and providing for her, and he is not the type leader, where he can take her to his family. Bo is a Healer. So Nicki picked Bo after nearly a year and a half. But in the mean time Squeaky's dad went on his way and left Squeaky behind and Fox and Nicki adopted him as their grandson and son. Bo and Nicki eventually got married and Bo has to stay with Fox's family group because he has more important responsibilities than hunting and providing for the family all the time. Squeaky is now Bo and Nicki's adopted son and they have three little ones of their own. Had Nicki of picked The Traveling Sale Man we would not be seeing her very often if at all.
They do celebrate a marriage. But not like we do. They hold a special type ceremony where the newly weds drink from the same gourd and they exchange breath. The do not kiss, and observe a personal space that others are not to cross and get in their face and breath. But a husband and wife or the marrying couple exchange breath therefore becoming one with each other. This is sort of hard to explain unless you know their ways very well. It is rude and can get you killed to exchange breath with someone other than your spouse because they consider this as becoming one as in soul mates or of one mind or one being. They do exchange small gifts and eat together. Tools mostly, or rocks or the like.
Not really a honey moon. But the couple will go off and become their own family or go to his family. But in the case of Bo and Nicki they just sort of stayed to their self until she was pregnant.
Yours,
Jan

Interesting about the breath -
There is a NA technique in horse training in which one exchanges breath with the horse; the belief is that you are sharing in each others soul. I have applied that technique several times, and it absolutely works; the nutsiest horse will get wide-eyed and calm, at least for some period of time, after you breathe into it's nostrils.

You did not mention the flowers -
A young female will smear flower petals on herself as a perfume in the spring when seeking a mate. The smell of B.O., slight skunk, and flowers is one you do not soon forget. It does nothing for ME, but to a BF male it is ambrosia.

Great observations Noodle. See I left room here for others to add to this. The Females do indeed use flowers to attract a male. One of their favorite here in TN to use is the Black Eyed Susan and this adds an inky color of blue tinted stain to their hair color. Yet I must admit it does noting to improve upon their smell if they are stinky.

Noodle, do you know what the young males do to increase their chances of attracting a female? As in, what natural cologne they may use?
Yours,
Jan

Sassifras leaves are a favorite; it leaves a licorish kind of aroma. I have also seen Walnut hulls used (the outer green part) for both scent and walnut-stain coloring of the hair.
Neither does much for their natural odor, though!!

Hi Noodle,

When we were out Researching with the Searching for Bigfoot Team, Jan picked up and rubbed a walnut on her clothes and told us this is something they do and she wanted to be more accepted. ;)

Jan, When a bigfoot dies, what do they do with the body?

The bigfoot bury their dead.
If for some reason they do not, one of several things happen:

1. They are found and hauled out of the woods by bigfoot researchers who sell them to Tom Biscardi, who makes a complete fool of himself on national Television with the fake body the government replaced the real body with.
2. They are found by Forestry or fish-and-game employees who call the MIB to come and transport them via Black Helicoptors in Whisper mode to the Smithsonian where they are locked up in the basement, never to be heard about again.
3. They return to the nearest parallel dimension from which they came.
4. Like any other large dead creature in the woods, they are devoured by various carrion eating animals, which only takes a few days.

Hi ravellette,

I do not think that noodle was picking on you, I believe he was just quoting beliefs that others have stated on others sites. There are so many theories out there.

Yes I have also heard that the FF bury their dead & have been spotted grieving by the grave.

Thank you Tom for explaining, I know there are folks out there looking for glory and fame.
I know they have feelings and it's sad that people can't respect their feelings and lives out in their environment.
