This book originally came out in hardback in 1978 from John Green's publishing company Cheam Publishing, and 3 years later it was published by Hancock House in paperback. It stayed in circulation for many years, even through 1995 when Strange Magazine offered copies of it through their bookstore (I wish I had taken advantage of it back then too). I finally bid on a paperback copy in January 2004 and won it for about $90.00. I practically devoured that book. I have read it, oh at least 4 times since I got it, the original paperback at least twice, the reprint which came out in 2006 at least twice. It is THE Bigfoot "bible" (notice the small "b") and if there is ANYONE who does not have this one in their book collection, GET IT!!!!!! I HIGHLY recommend it.
