Shedding Hair in the Spring

Was just wondering if BF's shed much hair in the spring like a collie dog does? If so do they use it ? Wouldn't this be the time of year to try and get hair samples ? If so where would one look to find some? Windspirit

They Use It In Their Bedding, As Cushion And Then Covered With Leaves, Check On Trees, Fences, Under Decks For Places Of Food Are Put, Steve

I have heard Jan say that they do not shed their hair like a dog, but they will brake the hair off to groom. I will let Jan elaborate more here.
