I've had numerous encounters with Sasquatch growing up in Illinois. Only one true siting, mostly due to fear during other encounters of what I might see if I looked. After college I moved to the Seattle area. Not a place to go if you are terrified of Sas. I continued having more encounters almost everytime I went for a short hike somewhere. But after one encounter, I was followed home apparently and in the night I know at least one was outside my bedroom window and entered my dreams. In any case, that experience back in 2000 brought me into being an armchair researcher of Sas. Shortly after I moved to a desert region of SoCA but last summer I moved into the mountains of SoCA. Some reports in this area. I'm looking forward to the spring to get out there and do more active observations.

MtnSquatch,

I am very curious to hear more about your dream experience. How much of the detail of the dream do you remember? Were you allowed to see your visitor in your dream?

Tom S, I remember the dream very clearly and yes, I was able to see him. It was a very realistic dream. He was dark gray with surprisingly bright blue eyes. There was, what I perceive to have been a female next to him. I could only see her left arm on occasion. She was a darker brown to black.

He was smiling and had his arm stretched out towards me. He was saying (without moving his mouth) 'it's ok, I won't hurt you, I just want to touch you." That was repeated several times. I was terrified and in the dream was coiled up away from him just screaming.

The interesting part was, when I woke up out of the dream, I heard them running away. I never checked for evidence, because my first thought was it was all just in my head, but it kept nagging at me. About a week later I decided to start searching for things about Sasquatch on-line. This happened either in Nov 99 or 2000. Not sure which.

Thank You very much for sharing your dream experience MtnSquatch. It amazes me that the male you saw in your dream also has blue eyes like Jan has told me about Fox. Jan says that the blue eyes on the picture of Fox that I edited is not exactly the right color blue, but close. That his blue eyes are the first thing that draw your attention before you really notice his face.

You must certainly have a good heart for him wanting to befriend you in this way. I could never get that close to Fox in person, but he has came to me in a dream before along with Squeeky. He had been injured on his lower left rib cage area and was holding his hand over it. He needed medicines for the injury. I asked him in my dream what had happened, and he told me that he fought with a bear and the bear had slashed at him with its paw. It was like he showed me a glimpse of the fight for me to understand what had happened.

I feel for you because I know that it is going to always eat at you for not accepting your Forest Friends touch. I would love to be able to just give one a big hug.

Again Thank You for sharing your dream experience with us here.

MtnSquatch,

I should have added that I do understand your fear during your dream. I believe the FFs also understand our fear of them. When you first see one, it is just not a normal everyday thing for, guessing, 99% of us to witness. I believe that is a big reason for their shyness of showing themselves to us and to cameras.

Just think of how many sightings that there have been, what do most of us normally do, we run away or scream in terror. I believe that most of them do not wish to have that affect on us. There are individuals whom have had bad experiences with our kind, be it being shot at or whatever, that have changed their outlook toward us, and I do not blame them much. I am in high hopes when finally they are proven to exist, that they will be respected and not threatened any longer.
