this weekend i will be camping in the red river gorge, kentucky. i was curious to see if any users have any information about looking for FF's in the gorge, or if anyone has any stories. also, if there are any sites i need to see while i'm there. this will be my second trip in 4 months. it's a beautiful place! thank you!
If you will google for bigfoot sightings in the Red River Gorge you will come up with all kinds of information as to where they have been sighted. I don't know exactly what part you are headed to but I'm sure you could get to a few of the areas that sightings have been noted as happening.
Yours,

it was a COLD weekend!!! dropping down past the single digits and into the negatives even due to windchill. nothing was moving out there this weekend! we joked that if we would have hunted and killed everything that moved we'd have four dead friends! haha. i saw like 2 birds and heard another. i'm not kidding either. red river gorge is full of rock caves and other structures that one could easily duck into to avoid wind and chill. so it is a defininate area to find FF's.
i, however, was not lucky in finding much at all. i found sinkholes that could double as a hunting spot, a few slants, a few arches, but nothing that really stuck out at me. last night, however, i heard a loud crash somewere distant in the valley, but that was about the end of it. there was a spring that was running, kinda drowning out all other noises. (that spring was pretty well frozen over when we got up this morning!) one other guy said he was awakened by what he thought was rain on the tent (didn't rain or snow this weekend).
we went on 2 long trudges throughout the day. we left after breakfast and came back to base camp for a good lunch, warmed up by the fire and headed out again. i came across some stick formations, teepee fashion, but nothing too elaborate. we did, however, find several waterfalls that looked awesome with the ice forming!
