Carole Devine has been a professional Astrologer since 1974 after she completed courses at the Academy of Astrological Studies in San Diego. Before that she studied with Lionel Day in New York at the American Astrosophical Institute. She holds fourth level NCGR certification and ISAR’s C.A.P. designation. Although she has a BS in Metaphysics, her mainstream educational background has been mainly in the field of journalism and English, hence a love of writing. She has published many articles, a booklet, Celestial Gardening, and several newspaper and magazine columns. Since completing the Exploring Astrology Correspondence Course on 112 CDs in the mid ‘90s, she has published two books, Solar Arc Directions and Star Trek Revealed. She is an active lecturer, having been a speaker for two AFA conferences, UAC 2008, regional conferences, many astrological organizations, and other groups in the US. She lectured about astrology and reincarnation for the Association for Research and Enlightenment (ARE) in Sweden and England. Over the last thirty years she has held offices in various organizations and is now on the steering committee of the Association for Astrological Networking. As Isabel Hickey has said, however, much is learned by experience for which there is no substitute. She is the mother of four adult sons, and brings many and varied living experiences to her teaching and counseling. Her philosophy closely follows that of A Course In Miracles, and therefore, is quite spiritually oriented. She uses Astrology as a positive blueprint for personal growth.
