Hello to all,
I'm John, I live in Charlotte, North Carolina. Currently working in Columbia SC.
Like many, I've been interested in the Sasquatch hominid for a very long time. Since the late 60's. I've read virtually everything on the subject I could. At the entrance of the web I began lurking on many forums.
I used to be on the pro-kill side of the debate. The more I've learned and gleaned from whatever sources I've been able to find, the more I've become convinced that this is a living, reasoning species that may be some relic of the prehistoric past.
While I can't say that I'm in full agreement with many positions and interpretations that I read, I do think the Sasquatch species is more than a advanced ape.
I've never seen or heard anything that I would attribute to a Sasquatch, though I've spent an inordinate amount of time in forested remote locations. I am retired military and regularly lived in the woods all over the world.
But I am convinced that the amalgam of encounters and experiences of others, all over the world, point to the fact that these guys are out there.
Well that's me in a nutshell. Hope to speak with some of you soon

Hi John. You're not alone being convinced of BF's existence by the overwhelming number of sightings, encounters, and other physical evidence. Keep on looking!

It's nice to hear of someone in the Carolinas.
I myself have never had any type of encounter nor have I noticed any sign in the area. I've wondered about some areas in the Yadkin River Basin. Other than that area the rest seem too populated.
There are some places in South Carolina that seem interesting also.
Like I said, I've been busy through the years and am just now finding weekends and vacation time that I can spend doing a little looking. I'd love to find others in the area to share with.
