When you heard these yellings, was it whoooos? I ask this because they do communicate with these whoooos for great distances. Their way of carrying for great distances "Who are you?". If you hear this again while you are out researching, just answer with your name. Just tell them whom you are and that you mean no harm. Ask them Whooooo and you may just get the unexpected surprise of your life with an answer that may be difficult for you to understand. They will share their name with you.

interesting. i was afraid that by yelling my name at them i'd frighten them off! but it was definately a "whoooo" sound. kinda of high and low pitched at the same time. check out this video and see what you think.

It does sound like a bigfoot yelling to another of their kind in this video at the first. The track they show is so short a view I can not say it is that of a bigfoot. Thank you for posting this.

I think it is a fake, the same sound played over and over aging also the foot print was small and was not deep.

very good job on filming,

but first, the foot print, it looks real, and it is a juvenile, but a juvenile will not make a foot print that deep. unless of coarse it, is a wide and a heavy juvenile, most of the time some one with experience would have had to been there, to see it,in order to make that kind of decision,

the sound is a bigfoot, and yes they do repeat them selves, at certain times, like calling for a mate, or other wise warnings, and they can go so high a frequency, that human ears cant pick it, and doing it over and over, but my question it simply this?,

if they claim, they do not have the experience on bigfoot, and was there camping and hiking, why did they taking recording equipment???????
and why have the video equipment ?????????
also if the foot print was that deep in frozen ground, and that small, the juvenile , would had to weigh a ton, not likely.

the food bags were to low to the ground for any bears, and bears would possibly , would be stating to hibernate, if it was that cold,

there is one tree bow, and other questionable formations, but like i said , a expert would have had to been there, maybe some one else can watch and listen to it and have other comments,

yeah, i thought it could be authenitic, but i wasnt sure. i posted it in another thread with a topic relating to vocalizations.

i know i used to bring a video camera with me everywhere, until it stopped working. so that could be why it was brought with them. i especially used to bring it when my friends and i all got together to capture any crazy stuff we did.

another explanition for the frozen footprint could be that the ground was soft and froze close to morning. there are times when i would go to bed and wake up with the ground being crunchy.

i'm not sure if it is authentic or not. i just thought it would be a great discussion piece!

I just wanted to bring the attention that we were discussing this video else where. I think that I will move those posts here for this discussion. They ended up being the first 2 posts because of being from an earlier date.

hmm.... i think that they might have heard (from a cryptozoological point of view, remember to always lookfor the most probable causes then least probable), here's a list from most likely to have made the sound and footprint to what least likely:
1:Noise:wind blowing through a hole in a tree
Footprint:one of the campers went toilet in barefeet
2:Noise:some kind of night bird
Footprint:A cat who's pawprint got distorted in the mud
3:Noise:Bigfoot calling to another Bigfoot
Footprint:A juvenile Bigfoot who was slightly bulky visited the campsite
that was a Cryptozoologist's point of view and here's a skeptics(gotta look at it from both fields of thought)
4:The campers played a recording during the day and put a footprint in the mud the following morning
it could have been any combination of the above statements, or none of them that i can think of, but it's hard to me to think of the video as genuine as they didn't actually see a Bigfoot, which leads me to conclude that it was either option 1 or 2 or 4, but it could have been option 3

I've spoken to the young man visible in the video and he's planning on going out next month to the same area. He was not sure of the sounds he heard until I put him onto other recorded sounds. What you're hearing is a challenge call, not wind blowing through trees.
